How do I order a transcript?

Please select “Order A Transcript” and complete the order form.  This will provide us with information to assist us in customising your requirements and emailing you with a quote.

How do I obtain a quote for my transcript?

Please fill in the “Order A Transcript” form and we will respond to your email with a quote as per your request.  You can also telephone the office during office hours on 02 9264 5611.

How do I send the audio to you?

If you are an existing high-security client there is a secure FTP log in.

If you are a new client, please contact us via email or phone,  and we will set up an upload facility for you.

If your work is non-secure we can simply transfer the audio using our order/quote form, or using your personalised client portal.

Can the audio be emailed?

Depending on the size of the file as to whether it can be emailed.  An upload FTP can be provided or for non-secure work a upload link can be emailed to you.

How much does a transcript cost?

The cost of a transcript depends on the length of the audio ie 10 minutes of audio would be less than $100 – as opposed to 4 hours of audio would be greater in cost.

As an indication, one hour of audio is approximately 10,000 words or between 30 to 40 pages.

Depending on when the transcript is required impacts on price.  Our standard turnaround is five working days but shorter time frames are accommodated.  Urgent jobs are more costly than the standard five day turnaround.

How long does it take to receive a transcript?

Standard turnaround is 5 days.  Shorter time frames can be accommodated being 2 to 3 days or 24 hours. Please email for clarification as per your requirement.

Can I obtain a transcript certification for my transcript for the Federal Court?

We are often asked to provide an affidavit or a transcript certification to accompany our transcripts to be presented in the Federal Court.  We are able to assist with these.

How do I pay for the transcript?

For existing clients – accounts are arranged. For new clients, payment upon completion is appreciated. Our bank account details can be found on our invoice. APT Transcriptions BSB 062 161  Account:  2800 9373
